Built in the early 18th century, the Antica Osteria della Dogana Nova
offered hospitality to travelers passing in Turin for state affairs, labor, tourism, study or for cultural events related to the role of Turin the capital of the Duchy of Savoy and the Kingdom of Sardinia.
